Drag-and-drop page builders make it possible even for non-developers to design beautiful websites in less than a day.

However, you still need to pay attention to the theme you’re building your website with.

Not only should it be fully compatible with your page builder of choice, it must also be built for performance.

This post is about the top 11 themes that work best with Elementor — a popular page builder for WordPress.

Before we get to the good stuff, I think a brief introduction is in order.

What is Elementor?

What is Elementor?

Let me be upfront with you.

I, myself, use Elementor as my go-to page builder for Master Blogging.

Believe me, I’ve tried a handful of page builders throughout the years as a professional blogger. While they all proved useful somehow, none came close to Elementor in terms of usability, features, and performance.

Here’s a quick rundown of Elementor’s best features:

  • Buttery-smooth live editor — The problem with a lot of page builders is that they tend to suffer intermittent slowdowns — crashes if you’re unlucky. With Elementor, the page elements I drag into the live editor always slides smoothly into place.
  • Feature-packed free version — Don’t have the extra budget to spare for a page builder? Even with the free version, Elementor can still help you build stunning pages with dozens of free widgets.
  • Huge collection of templates — Elementor comes with a list of ready-made templates to help you save time. There are templates for individual content blocks, pop-ups, and entire pages prepared for various purposes.
Elementor design features

Impressive, I know — but we’ve barely scratched the surface of what Elementor can do.

To learn more about the page builder, check out my full Elementor Pro review.

If you want to build stunning web pages with Elementor, here are the best free and premium themes I recommend:

1. GeneratePress

The #1 lightweight and versatile WordPress theme for Elementor

GeneratePress

There are three reasons why I recommend Elementor users to go with GeneratePress.

First, GeneratePress is a lightweight theme with tons of features that will help you build a stunning and fast website.

Second, you only need to pay for GeneratePress Premium once. You can then use it on as many websites as you want.

And third, it’s the WordPress theme I use myself.

I’ve seen it in action — and I’m confident you’ll love it, too.

GeneratePress main features

GeneratePress is designed from the ground up for two things: speed and versatility.

The theme’s first noteworthy feature exemplifies the latter.

Comprehensive Site Library

The quickest way to get started with GeneratePress is to build on top of a pre-configured website template.

GeneratePress has a wide range of templates you can choose from. There are templates for restaurants, personal blogs, photography sites, online stores — you name it.

You’ll also be pleased to know that GeneratePress has themes specifically built for Elementor.

GeneratePress Elementor templates

Customize your site with easy-to-use modules

GeneratePress flattens the learning curve of creating a 100% unique and fully-functional WordPress website with premium modules.

There are modules that can help you build advanced navigation systems, integrate WooCommerce, fine-tune your site’s colors, and more.

GeneratePress Premium Modules

Each of these modules requires only basic interactions during configuration. For the most part, it’s only a matter of selecting checkboxes, using sliders, and picking from drop-down menus.

Editing sections with GeneratePress

Full control over your website’s footprint

The developers made sure GeneratePress is as lean as possible to ensure maximum website performance.

With the default setup, a WordPress website running on GeneratePress should be less than 30KB in size.

To help you maintain a fast and stable WordPress ecosystem, you’re given the choice to specify which modules to use.

  • Great community

Who is GeneratePress Premium for?

GeneratePress is a WordPress that can suit the needs of just about every website owner.

The free version is great for beginners who just need to prop up the framework of a new website. This barebones version won’t have standout features, but it should be enough to help bloggers visualize their long-term website goals.

Once their monthly traffic starts growing, they can invest in GeneratePress Premium to have their WordPress needs covered forever. Remember, purchasing GeneratePress Premium means you can use it for life — no need for renewal fees.

2. Hello Elementor

The official, free theme created by the Elementor team

Hello

Hello is considered as the starter theme for Elementor.

It’s officially being used by the Elementor team to develop and test updates for future patches. That’s how you know that a theme is fully compatible with the Elementor page builder.

Hello main features

As a free theme, Hello doesn’t come with fancy features like GeneratePress’s modules.

Remember, it is developed specifically as a “vanilla” theme with the sole purpose of running Elementor. The main selling point is that it allows the page builder to work its magic uninterrupted.

100% created for Elementor

When it comes to compatibility with Elementor, the Hello theme is indeed the cream of the crop.

The theme is purposefully stripped down to make sure Elementor’s full arsenal of page building features work as intended.

Hello Elementor compatibility

Extremely lightweight

Hello fully depends on Elementor’s visual widgets for the design side of things.

As such, the theme doesn’t waste any resources on pre-set visual elements that will end up being replaced anyway. You can check out the screenshot below to see Hello’s definition of “lightweight.”

Hello lightweight theme

Other Hello features

  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • Open source
  • Developer-friendly code
  • Seamless integration with Elementor WooCommerce Builder

Who is Hello for?

Hello Elementor is a great theme for new Elementor users who wish to explore the platform.

It is the perfect “blank canvas” for aspiring bloggers who wish to design their site from the ground up.

However, I don’t recommend picking up Hello if you want fast results. With the lack of site templates and layouts, you’re expected to build everything from scratch.

The Hello theme is entirely free and open source. You don’t have to spend a single penny to use it.

3. Astra Theme

Get a professional-looking website up and running fast with pre-built website templates

Astra WP

The Astra theme boasts a huge library of customizable, pre-built website templates that can cut your development time in half.

While Astra offers an impressive range of built-in customization options, it’s built with page builder support in mind. And if you get the “Pro” version, you can take advantage of even more tools to ace your website’s design.

Astra Theme main features

Both Astra’s free and pro versions have enough features for it to be considered a top pick.

Huge collection of high-quality, pre-built websites

Here’s the thing: I don’t recommend the Astra theme if you’re not interested in using a pre-built website template.

You’ll miss out big time if you plan to build everything from a clean slate.

Regardless of niche, Astra has a ready-to-use template you can use to springboard your WordPress website.

Astra demo templates

Flexible site layouts for your content

Astra has plenty of site layouts available for the presentation of different types of information.

For example, there’s the “Full Width” layout for a distraction-free reading experience. There’s also the “Boxed” layout if you want to distinguish your main content from other site elements like sidebar widgets.

Astra website layouts

Customize the color and background image of every area of your website

Just like GeneratePress, Astra gives you total control over the background and color of every single section of your website.

Sure, you will be using Elementor anyway so the advanced background and color options don’t seem like a big deal. However, it’s always nice to know that a theme doesn’t rely on third-party integrations for the sake of customizability.

The extended color options can be found on specific areas of the built-in theme customizer.

Astra base colors settings

Other Astra Theme features

  • Multiple header designs
  • Multiple footer layouts
  • Seamless WooCommerce integration
  • LearnDash integration for selling online courses
  • SEO-friendly
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Fine-tuned for high website performance

Who is Astra Theme for?

Astra is a great WordPress theme for websites of all sizes.

As far as cost-effectiveness goes, I’d say small businesses and online entrepreneurs will get the most value out of Astra.

The LearnDash integration, for instance, is a huge plus if you want to monetize your website by selling online courses. That is, if you are happy with the eLearning features that LearnDash brings to the table.

Getting the “Mini Agency” bundle will also get you over 55 additional starter templates you can work with. That’s a huge advantage over the 20+ starter templates you’ll get with the entry-level plan.

More importantly, upgrading to a pricier plan makes you eligible for an “Ultimate Addons” bundle for Elementor or Beaver Builder.

This brings us to the pricing structure of Astra.

Astra Theme pricing

Astra has two pricing options with three different tiers.

For all pricing plans, you can either choose to pay an annual fee or purchase a lifetime license.

A lifetime Astra license, of course, involves a significantly bigger upfront cost. It will, however, to long-term savings as long as you’ll keep using the theme.

Astra Pro — $59 per year or $249 for a lifetime license

  • Unlimited websites
  • Unlocks all Astra Pro features
  • 20+ starter website templates
  • LearnDash integration
  • One-on-one customer support

Mini Agency Bundle — $169 per year or $499 for a lifetime license

  • Everything in Astra Pro plan
  • 55+ agency starter templates
  • Free WP Portfolio plugin
  • “Ultimate Addons” bundle for either Elementor or Beaver Builder (just pick one)

Agency Bundle — $249 per year or $699 for a lifetime license

  • Everything in Mini Agency Bundle
  • Both “Ultimate Addons” bundles for Elementor and Beaver Builder
  • Convert Pro plugin
  • Schema Pro plugin
  • SkillJet Academy
  • Future Astra plugins

4. OceanWP

Flexible WordPress theme with powerful premium extensions

OceanWP

Want an alternative to Astra with a fresh batch of ready-to-use site templates?

OceanWP is that alternative. It is a popular, multipurpose theme that will help you build fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly sites — no matter the niche.

OceanWP main features

The strengths of OceanWP is comparable to that of Astra’s.

Apart from must-have qualities like performance optimization and mobile-friendliness, you also get free plugins, reusable templates, and high website customizability.

Loads of website demos for different niches

Want a ready-made website demo for your personal blog? You got it.

How about a template to get the online store you’ve been planning off to a running start?

Yes — OceanWP has a handful of those as well.

OceanWP website demos

Built-in eCommerce features for higher conversions

Just like the top Elementor-friendly themes in this list, OceanWP integrates smoothly with WooCommerce.

Additionally, OceanWP has built-in features that can enrich the shopping experience on your future eCommerce website. You can easily insert “Add to Cart” buttons, enable product “quick view” windows, implement a product filter system, and more.

All this means you don’t have to load up on extra plugins that could bog down your WordPress website.

OceanWP eCommerce features

Growing collection of theme extensions

Astra theme promises customers access to WordPress plugins they publish in the future.

Well, the people behind OceanWP also stand behind a similar commitment.

By purchasing OceanWP, you’ll also be able to use premium extensions like “Popup Login,” “Sticky Header,” and “Elementor Widgets.” That includes all premium extensions that OceanWP will be publishing in the future.

OceanWP theme extensions

Other OceanWP features

  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • Optimized for faster page loading speeds
  • Great compatibility with page builders like Elementor, Visual Composer, and Divi
  • Publicly available, extensive documentation
  • Option to purchase priority support

Who is OceanWP for?

OceanWP clearly has the same target market as Astra, but it does come with slightly cheaper price tags.

It is great for small businesses, online entrepreneurs, eCommerce websites, and bloggers who want to make website monetization happen.

I do, however, notice that OceanWP’s collection of site demos favors corporate users.

If you run a music studio, fitness club, charity, or some kind of agency, finding suitable templates is a breeze.

OceanWP pricing

OceanWP has three pricing tiers with two modes of payment: annual and lifetime.

You’re also required to pay extra if you want to avail priority customer support.

Personal — $39 per year or $159 for a lifetime license

  • For one website only
  • 8 free extensions
  • 13 premium extensions
  • 13 free website demos
  • 60 pro demos

Business — $79 per year or $319 for a lifetime license

  • For three websites only
  • Everything in Personal plan

Agency — $129 per year or $519 for a lifetime license

  • For up to 25 websites
  • Everything in Business plan

5. Neve

Fast and minimalistic WordPress theme with seamless Elementor integration

Neve

I’ve known Themeisle, the developers of Neve, for their wide range of elegant and minimal WordPress themes.

Neve is minimalism perfected with its effective use of whitespace, Google AMP compatibility, and smooth Elementor integration.

Neve main features

Neve is among my favorite WordPress themes, and that’s not just because I’m a huge fan of minimal themes.

It also has a lot of great stuff under the hood.

Built from top to bottom for speed

Neve’s main selling point is the top-notch performance your WordPress website can achieve.

Performance optimization tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix confirm that Neve’s promise of being “built for speed” is no joke. It only takes 0.6 seconds to load a Neve-powered website using the default theme settings.

The lack of visual clutter should also make it easier for your audience to focus on your content.

Neve Speed Reports

Advanced customization options

Neve has advanced header and customization options baked into the theme.

The “Header Booster” add-on makes it easy to add search icons, menu icons, breadcrumbs, and custom HTML elements. There’s also the “Blog Booster” add-on, which allows you to modify settings like excerpt length, pagination, grid layout, and more.

You can also change your theme’s layout between “contained” or “full width” to make way for your Elementor content components.

All that can be used by a newbie without writing a single line of code.

Neve Blog Booster plugin

Long list of ready-to-use starter sites

A collection of demo websites is always a good thing when talking about WordPress themes.

Long story short, they enable you to have a professional-looking website up and running in less than a day.

With Neve, you can choose from a diverse collection of over 80 starter websites. There are templates for business websites, online stores, food blogs, travel blogs, and so on.

Neve also features a range of starter sites specifically designed for Elementor.

Other Neve features

  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • Comes with a “one-click rollback” feature
  • Lean, developer-friendly code
  • Add-ons like Header Booster, Custom Layouts, and Elementor Booster

Who is Neve for?

Like GeneratePress, Neve is one of those themes that can perfectly suit any WordPress project.

Their website claims that it’s made for freelancers and hobbyists who want an easy-to-use and flexible theme. However, it definitely has the firepower that agencies need to establish an authoritative online presence.

Neve’s pricing structure also makes it a cost-effective option for all budgets.

Neve pricing

Purchasing any Neve theme plan will allow you to use it on as many websites as you want. “Personal” plan customers, however, will have limitations when it comes to the starter sites they can use.

On the plus side, the “Elementor Booster” add-on is included in all Neve theme plans. This grants nine premium widgets that will help you build a unique site.

Personal — $49 per year or $149 for a lifetime license

  • Unlimited websites
  • Header Booster
  • Blog Booster
  • Elementor Booster
  • Custom layouts
  • “Back to top” button

Business — $79 per year or $299 for a lifetime license

  • Everything in Personal plan
  • Premium starter site templates
  • WooCommerce Booster add-on
  • Priority customer support

Agency — $129 per year or $449 for a lifetime license

  • Everything in Business plan

6. Layers for Elementor

Free, professional WordPress theme that works seamlessly with Elementor

Layers for Elementor

Layers WP is a popular WordPress theme that’s acquired by Elementor, making it exclusive to the page builder’s customers.

Now rebranded as Layers for Elementor, the theme offers a high degree of website customization in a very user-friendly package.

Layers for Elementor main features

Layers for Elementor is designed to make website development tasks manageable even by first timers.

Custom design interface for easy website building

Even before Elementor’s acquisition, Layers WP uses a drag-and-drop theme customizer to make website building a walk in the park.

With just your mouse, you can rearrange page sections, build dynamic content, and insert interactive elements that awe.

The intuitiveness of drag-and-drop page building is merely amplified with Elementor’s robust toolset.

Layers for Elementor features

Native blog layout customization

Layers for Elementor lets you customize your blog layout without leaving the WordPress theme customizer.

With one click, you can change the display settings of sidebars, featured images, and information like dates, tags, and categories.

Since the built-in theme customizer includes a live preview, you essentially skip the trial and error process of page building.

Layers for Elementor blog layouts

Pre-designed elements

Layers for Elementor features a handful of pre-designed page elements. This eliminates the need to overload your WordPress ecosystem with plugins.

You can create highly stylized buttons, CTA widgets, email forms, sliders, and many more.

Your website’s header will also be fully customizable in virtually every aspect. You can change its height, background images, logo, arrangement, and so on — without even using Elementor.

Layers for Elementor header controls

Other Layers for Elementor features

  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • WooCommerce-friendly
  • Google Fonts integration
  • Background video widget
  • Automatic page backups
  • Google Analytics integration

Who is Layers for Elementor for?

Layers for Elementor brings top-tier performance and functionality to your WordPress project without asking for a single cent.

Looking at the user-friendliness aspect of the theme, one can say that it’s designed for beginners and solo content creators. However, it’s undoubtedly capable of catering to the needs of businesses and well-funded digital entrepreneurs.

If you already purchased Elementor, consider checking out Layers WP before you commit to any theme.

After the acquisition by Elementor, the Layers theme can now be downloaded and uploaded to any WordPress site for free.

7. Page Builder Framework

Open source WordPress theme designed and hard-coded for page builders

Page Builder Framework

Page Builder Framework is a WordPress theme that can bring out the best in Elementor.

The theme follows the same design principle of Hello Elementor:

Keep it clean, simple, and compatible with all the tools and features of page builders.

It just so happens that Page Builder Framework supports not just Elementor, but a few other page builders as well.

Page Builder Framework main features

When it comes to themes, “lightweight” doesn’t have to mean “deprived of standout features.”

Page Builder Framework proves that with its collection of premium features.

Ready-to-use elements via the “Premium Add-On”

Page Builder Framework comes with ready-to-use elements you can deploy in seconds.

These elements or “Premium Add-On” features include sticky navigation menus, eye-catching CTA buttons, custom page sections, among others.

There are also loads of settings you can play with to craft a 100% unique experience for your users. You can modify advanced typography settings, implement navigation hover effects, and more.

Page Builder Framework premium add-ons

Ultimate Dashboard Pro add-on

There are plenty of WordPress themes that allow white label configurations for agencies and freelancers.

Page Builder Framework takes it to a whole new level with the Ultimate Dashboard Pro add-on.

This add-on gives you the power to de-clutter the WordPress dashboard — creating a more streamlined CMS experience for your clients. Of course, you can also use it for personal projects if you think that customizing your dashboard could improve productivity.

Page Builder Framework Ultimate Dashboard Pro

Swift Control Pro

Swift Control Pro is another Page Builder Framework add-on that can be used for either you or your client.

What it does is simple: create a customizable, floating navigation bar with shortcuts to important areas of your WordPress dashboard.

With the right configuration, Swift Control Pro can be a huge time-saver for you. And just like the rest of Page Builder Framework, it works incredibly well with page builders like Elementor.

Page Builder Framework Swift Control

Other Page Builder Framework features

  • Lightweight theme for stability
  • SEO-friendly
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Built for speed

Who is Page Builder Framework for?

Page Builder Framework is indeed a great complement for popular page builders, including Elementor.

The free, minimal version, in particular, will enable you to take full advantage of Elementor’s page building potential.

Page Builder Framework’s paid features, on the other hand, are tailored for professionals and companies who build WordPress websites. It has amazing white labeling capabilities that are hard to match.

Unfortunately, those features can be too expensive for new website owners. It’s hard for me to recommend this theme to those who are yet to successfully monetize their blog.

Page Builder Framework pricing

Page Builder Framework has a compelling free version with all the features that make it great for page builders. But if you’re eyeing its more advanced features like the premium add-ons, you’ll need a paid plan.

Page Builder Framework free

  • Unlimited websites
  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • Full customization options

Premium Add-On — $58 per year or $248 for a lifetime license

8. Schema

SEO-first WordPress theme if dominating SERPs is your thing

Schema

Here’s a quick fact: you can’t call yourself a professional blogger if you don’t know what SEO is.

SEO, short for Search Engine Optimization, encompasses practices that make a website appear on search engine results. But we’re not here to discuss that.

Schema is a unique WordPress theme that’s designed around making your website SEO-friendly.

Schema main features

Keep in mind that SEO is affected by a number of on-page factors.

That includes website performance, meta data, mobile-friendliness, and the overall content consumption experience.

Schema is a theme that prioritizes all those.

SEO-ready package

The developers of Schema paid attention to crucial on-page SEO factors when building the theme.

As a package, Schema delivers stable code, speed, security, and highly readable content that’s friendly to users and crawlers. It also supports all “rich snippets” that can help improve both your rankings and click-through rates from search engine results.

Schema also has built-in reviews and social media voting features to obtain the trust signals your brand needs.

When it comes to your website’s performance, you’re in charge of deciding which optimizations to use. All it takes is a single flick of a toggle to activate or deactivate a feature — no additional plugins required.

Schema performance optimization features

Simplified website customization options

As a MyThemeShop product, Schema installs a mission control center to your WordPress dashboard for all of your website customizations.

From there, you can modify your headers, footers, sidebars, site menus, and various styling options like background patterns and layouts.

It’s also worth noting that Schema includes full support for the entire Google Fonts library. That gives you a virtually limitless selection of typography options for your WordPress website.

Schema styling options

Built-in ad management

This next feature came to me as a surprise.

For a theme built for drawing in organic traffic, having a built-in ad management feature seemed out of place. After all, if I’m focusing on organic traffic, I’d want the flow of visits to conversions to be natural.

Still, it’s always a good thing to have features suited for a wider range of website monetization options.

With the Schema theme installed, you can access a custom “Ad Management” panel. That’s where you can easily configure ads on your website by pasting their code into the ad spaces you want.

Schema ad management page

Other Schema features

  • SEO-friendly
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Pre-optimized for faster page loading speeds
  • Comprehensive performance features like lazy loading and prefetching
  • Social media buttons
  • Support for unlimited sidebars
  • Built-in translations

Who is Schema for?

Schema is a great theme for WordPress bloggers who are fairly knowledgeable in SEO.

The theme is still easy to use, but don’t expect it to hold your hand through the site building process.

Sure, they do have some demo data that can help beginners learn the ropes. Demo data sites are, however, nowhere near as helpful as the site templates offered by other themes.

All in all, the theme enables you to cover all your bases on-page SEO-wise without relying on additional software.

Schema pricing

The Schema theme can be purchased as a single product from MyThemeShop.

For a single product purchase, the price depends on the number of sites you want to use it on.

The pricing options for the Schema theme are as follows:

  • One website — $35
  • Three websites — $59
  • Unlimited websites — $77

There’s also the option to get the theme, along with everything in MyThemeShop’s catalog, for a membership fee. That entitles you to all of the company’s premium themes and plugins, including their future releases.

  • One website — $99
  • Three websites — $197
  • Unlimited websites — $420

9. Bellevue

Beautiful, Elementor-friendly theme for websites in the travel niche

Bellevue

Building a WordPress website with a working reservations system can be challenging.

Sure, there are plugins you can use to easily deploy the core functionalities you want on your site. Piecing them together into a seamless user experience, however, can be tough.

Bellevue is a premium WordPress theme that will help you skip the draining process of planning your website’s UX.

In addition to all the premium plugins you need, Bellevue also comes with working demos to build your site on. ked

Bellevue main features

First and foremost, Bellevue’s set of features is designed for businesses that accept bookings and reservations. This includes restaurants, hotels, resorts, and other travel destinations.

Bundled with the WP Booking System plugin for WordPress

WP Booking System is a popular booking calendar plugin for WordPress.

As of writing this, the plugin’s premium version is priced at $49.

You can get it for free if you purchase the Bellevue theme.

With this plugin, you can effortlessly create booking calendars that will maximize the intuitiveness of making reservations on your site.

Once your booking calendar is live, customers can book their visit by selecting the days they want to reserve. For convenience, unavailable days are clearly highlighted.

Bellevue booking calendar

Free materials for design and content creation

Bellevue lets you sprinkle your pages and posts with plenty of free resources.

If you have experienced with photo editing, you’ll find their collection of 50 layered Photoshop templates and stylized logos useful.

The theme also throws in over 350 high-resolution, creative common photos and over a thousand professional icons. All these can be used for free as long as your website has Bellevue installed and activated.

Bellevue free creative

Deep customization options

There’s a great chance you’ll be happy with the pre-built website demos for the Bellevue theme. However, you still need customizations to make your website more original.

The good news is, styling your WordPress website with Bellevue is real easy.

From the built-in theme customizer, you can personalize your site header, footer, typography, sidebar  , and more. Take note that these changes won’t mess up the layout and overall design language of Bellevue.

Bellevue also has a library of stylized elements to help you create a memorable experience for your website visitors. Some examples are tabs, accordions, icon boxes, service blocks, and info cards.

The potential of these customizations, of course, can be further enhanced with the help of Elementor.

Bellevue functional elements

Other Bellevue features

  • Free premium version of Master Slider plugin
  • Formidable Forms integration with pro support
  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • Support for multiple languages
  • Six ready-to-use website demos

Who is Bellevue for?

With what you’ve read so far, you should already know that Bellevue is designed for hotels, restaurants, and similar businesses.

It won’t be practical for bloggers and other types of businesses to purchase Bellevue due to its specialized feature set. If you don’t need a reservations system on your website, you’ll get more bang for your buck with another theme.

If, however, you do require a booking system on a website, then getting Bellevue is a no-brainer.

Bellevue pricing

Bellevue is currently available at the Envato Market as a one-time purchase.

There are two license types you can choose: a regular license for $59 and an extended license for $1,500.

A regular license grants you all of Bellevue’s features along with the option to use the theme for another client. However, if you’re a freelancer or agency that plans to use the theme for multiple clients, get an extended license.

10. Colorway

Reap the full benefits of Elementor’s lead generation features

Colorway

Colorway is for WordPress websites built with lead generation in mind.

The theme features templates created to make new websites look and feel professional as soon as they’re launched. There are templates for food businesses, jewelry brands, law firms, and just about any business you can think of.

Colorway main features

Colorway is developed for those who want a heavy-duty website that performs fast. Despite being packed with features, the theme maintains impressive loading speeds with multiple setups.

A good number of professional website templates

One of the reasons why someone would want to purchase Colorway is its library of website templates.

As I mentioned before, Colorway has a collection of pre-built website templates designed to turn readers into customers. There are templates for educational organizations, coffee shops, wedding planners, barbershops, bakeries — every business that needs an online presence.

If you can’t find a theme that’s tailor-made for your business, rest assured that these templates are fully customizable. The WordPress theme customizer alone has options for anything from fonts to your page’s colors.

Of course, there’s also the wide customization capabilities of Elementor, which is fully supported by Colorway.

Apart from the colorful and visual-heavy website templates, Colorway also comes equipped with extensions for lead generation.

The lineup includes “AppointUp” for easy website bookings and “LeadUp” for lead capture forms that can captivate your audience.

Just like the theme itself, AppointUp has flexible styling options and professionally designed templates you can start with. You can also set up SMS booking notifications so you can stay on top of your business.

LeadUp also has beautiful templates and integrations waiting to be deployed. For customizations, the theme lets you take full advantage of Elementor’s drag-and-drop editor.

Even more premium plugins

The design factor is evidently one of Colorway’s biggest pros.

Simply slapping on a website template will already make your online brand look convincing and legitimate.

With a little help from Elementor and a few other add-ons, you can make your online presence significantly more impactful. There’s an add-on for your headers, footers, image sliders, WooCommerce product catalog, and so on.

Who is Colorway for?

Colorway’s advanced features may be created for businesses, but it still is a solid choice for one-man bloggers.

Thanks to Colorway’s free version, WordPress users can use the theme along with core features like templates and basic customization.

Colorway’s paid version is an entirely different story. I don’t really recommend it to new WordPress users unless you need a booking system implemented fast.

The LeadUp plugin may look promising, but remember that you can also make brilliant forms with Elementor.

Colorway pricing

Colorway has three pricing options for WordPress users with different budgets.

There are two paid options, but both all offer the same benefits. The only difference is the amount of time you can receive premium customer support and theme updates.

All plans grant lifetime access to Colorway and its basic features.

11. Hestia Pro

High-performance WordPress theme for businesses that use Elementor

Hestia Pro

Hestia Pro is marketed as a multi-purpose website. However, I find it to be more suited to businesses in specific industries.

That’s mainly because of the limited collection of starter sites you can use to kickstart your WordPress development.

Still, Hestia Pro is a great theme to use when partnered with Elementor. The theme’s material design works well for piecing together interactive elements and visuals into one cohesive experience.

Hestia Pro main features

As another Themeisle product, Hestia Pro has a lot in common with Neve in terms of design language and benefits.

What makes it different is the emphasis on material, grid-based layouts that dramatically change the content consumption experience.

Material design starter sites

Just like some of the themes above, Hestia Pro features a library of templates made by professionals.

The starter sites are for professionals and businesses in industries like law, travel, fitness, coffee shops, and eCommerce.

I’d say there are many more industries that can benefit from Hestia Pro’s templates, but there aren’t.

Granted, the number of starter sites available for Hestia Pro is nowhere near as big as Neve’s library. But take note that these are fully working website templadtes that only need your original content to be called “finished.”

Additionally, you have Elementor to make quick work of the customizations you’ve planned for your WordPress site. Hestia Pro’s small template library shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re not in one of their target niches.

Easy frontpage customization

With Hestia Pro’s fully customizable front page, you can easily whip up 100% original WordPress in a matter of minutes. Your homepage is automatically divided into sections that can be individually hidden or shown with one click.

Hestia Pro also comes with additional features like header sliders, section reordering, and a pre-designed pricing plans section.

With the theme’s premium version, you also get the Jetpack Portfolio plugin. This will allow you to showcase your products and services to your audience as soon as they arrive.

Large library of video tutorials

When hunting for the perfect WordPress theme, it’s perfectly reasonable to choose a beginner-friendly product with a smooth learning curve.

However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make an effort whatsoever to learn the inner workings of your theme.

If you want to be a competent blogger, you need to maximize all the assets you have at your disposal. And to maximize a theme, you need to be fully aware of what it can do.

Hestia Pro is backed by Themeisle’s library of 200+ video tutorials to help make the most out of the theme.

Compared to Neve, Hestia Pro has more advanced visual features that require some learning. That makes Themeisle’s expansive knowledge base all the more useful.

  • Mobile-friendly
  • SEO-friendly
  • WooCommerce-ready
  • Large knowledge base with over 300 product documentation articles

Who is Hestia Pro for?

Hestia Pro is a powerful theme for a select number of professionals and businesses.

Even if you disregard the available starter sites, Hestia Pro’s features are geared towards helping businesses generate conversions.

For solo bloggers, I recommend getting Neve, which is cheaper and more intuitive.

Hestia Pro pricing
